Diversity and inclusion have never been more important to our brand. Our commitment is both internal and external; how we recruit internationally for a brand that has a global customer base and how our marketing is executed to achieve our mission of ‘every woman being her most beautiful self’. The ‘what’ and the ‘how’: Our commitment also recognises that diversity represents what our team and marketing looks like and inclusivity represents how everyone is actually included.

SUPPORTING INCLUSIVITY IN THE COMMUNITY
In alignment with Duckie Thot we have made a donation to the organization ENAR (European Network Against Racism). Our HKM X Duckie Thot social media campaign will link directly to ENAR, inviting our followers and fans of Duckie to become involved in the movement and donate. The ENAR donations (made via HKM X Duckie Thot campaign) will go towards causes and projects that relate directly to empowering Black women.

We believe that every woman is beautiful and sexy in her own way. Our collections as a whole ensure we reflect the wide range of tastes and cultures we serve. This is where diversity means celebrating our differences. We also understand when diversity means there should be no difference, for example, to ensure the widest range of sizes are available and all sizes share the same price-point. Our design team also develops colour palettes for products that reflect differing skin tones – what can suit a pale skin may not suit darker skin tones.

These are our values: Passionate, Inspiring, In-touch, Fun and Sexy. In 2020 we added Inclusive. It was a big reminder to all of us that however diverse our culture or our marketing, inclusivity can only be achieved when we listen, value and respond to all those that are part of our brand.
